Eco line

Since the company was founded – 140 years ago – it is always an ambition of LOTTUSSE to work on new technics and developments to implement modern standards in production.

With long term raw material suppliers LOTTUSSE is always exchanging for projects to support their needs and create a product with a better agreeability for the enviornment.

The resutl of this development is the eco line, with the following specific details:

• The leather is tanned and dressed free of Chrome and with natural herbs and engredience fort he dyeing process.
• Natural rubber (coutchouc) is used fort he soles, which is very soft an flexible.
• A glue with non chemical compnents is choosen, too connect the leather and sole.

This product line is produced 100% by hand, in Spain.

There is a direct connection between new ideas and tradition – the shoes are sewn on sewing machines which are over 100 years old, by experienced craftsmen – some of them are working for LOTTUSSE since decades.

This special series is limited in two leaters and 4 colors – due to the limited possibilities of the ecological and technical aspects.

Nevertheless we think it is always important to invest in future product developments without loosing the connection to our tradition.
