All the Fumagalli ties are hand made in Italy.
Take care of your tie. Same suggestions for loving it. Love for one’s own tie, begins since the first moment you take it out. Hanging it, it’s important for giving the fibres the time to rest and recover their qualites. A year earlier, in 1890 „Fumagalli & Pianca“ were joined with another ’stump‘ the historical
silk weaving company of Germano Fumagalli. In those far off days only hand looms were used to weave.

Three generations later ‚Fumagalli‘ are using those same looms. Constant researches from the historic Fumagalli’s textile archive lead to designs swimming from past to future ones. This is time we went back to the way that brought Fumagalli to patent a unique yarn and then ending in the 50’s: „THE GOLD TWILL“. The constant testing brings to the creation of a really and innovative patent.
